Mouse gestures

Hold the right button and draw a line to close, reload, go back or forward — no hunting for buttons.

Mouse gestures are what long-time users miss most: hold the right button and draw down to reload, left to go back, an L shape to close the tab. Once learned it beats clicking buttons, and beats memorizing shortcuts.

Default gestures

A dozen common gestures ship by default: down (reload), left (back), right (forward), down-right (close tab), up (new tab), up-down (reopen the last closed tab).

  • Down: reload the page
  • Left / right: back / forward
  • Down then right: close the current tab
  • Up: open a new tab

Customizing

In gesture settings you can assign your own track to each action and bind gestures to extension commands or actions like "copy link text".

  • Custom track for every action
  • Bind gestures to extension commands
  • Adjustable recognition sensitivity
  • Export the configuration to restore on another machine

Super drag

Beyond gestures, dragging is enhanced: drag a link to open it in a new tab, drag text to search it, drag an image to save it or search by image.

  • Drag a link: open in a new tab
  • Drag text: start a search
  • Drag an image: save or search by image
  • Super drag can be disabled in settings

FAQ

Do gestures work on a trackpad?

Yes, by dragging with two fingers or holding the right button. Trackpad users often prefer system gestures and shortcuts.

Do gestures conflict with the page context menu?

No. A gesture is only recognized once the pointer moves past a threshold while the button is held; a click in place still opens the menu.
